Joey has been a lifelong learner and tech geek while residing in the Commonwealth. Being a mod at Camp Shorty is equal parts enlightening and frightening. What a magnificent blessing this community has been for me, a place where the "do not fit in" fit in. We are a non-judgmental supportive collective that, regardless of how hurt, broken and alone you feel realize there are other members here who have been there, done that and come out on the other side. Camp Shorty is a place of difficult topics discussed bluntly and with sensitivity. So welcome to this safe, healing community. CAMP SHORTY is that safe space to give you voice to deal with your own life issues. We are all perfectly imperfect, on a journey.

Meet LawNerdAmber! Miss Shorty and Amber have been great friends, Bo’s even, on these YouTube streets for 2 years! Amber was the very first person Shorty asked to join her Mod Squad, however, life got in the way for a few months, until, in October of 2024, the stars aligned and Amber joined the team.

Amber is her name, and baking, cooking, trial watching, dabbling in art, and making butter is her game (I just need butterrr. Butter is important to me). With her glorious kitty Lana lying over her arm whilst trying to type, our girl Amber moderates for Camp Shorty and Jaybronius (formerly The Shaming of Jay) and does it with pizzazz, professionalism and a fair dose of sass! Impassioned, informed, dedicated, kind, and funny as fuck, Amber is one of Miss Shorty’s best friends. United in the AuADHD of it all, these two crazies plan to ride at dawn, iffffff they can overcome their time blindness to coordinate the mission! Amber is Shorty’s rock, her voice of reason, her hype man and her light in the darkest times. Researcher, backend assistant….Amber is an angel.

 I don't take myself seriously. Life is for fun and purely for my entertainment. Being a Mod for Miss Shorty's channel provides the perfect levity from the stress of my busy and intense nature of my normal work life. Shorty has built a fabulous channel where people feel comfortable to be themselves. It's not your cookie cutter stuffy boring channel. Shorty works tirelessly to provide interesting topics to her community. There are times when the Host, Mods and Chat goes completely off topic & feral. This is my kinda place!

 Steph is our beloved Baby Mod. She is uniquely, hilariously endearing, offering left of field insights, both salty AND sweet, on the regular. Poignant and thought provoking, always. Renowned for her previous old-school voice to text messages, an unpunctuated stream of consciousness. All that changed when Miss Shorty showed Steph how to voice note, and now, the lucky few receive the most delightfully hilarious voice notes from Baby Mod herself. Best. 10/10. Steph waxes, ummm, sensitive areas for her real world job. Anyone who “happily” spends countless hours down that end of…people… is a saint, in our opinion. Steph and Miss Shorty were brought together by the Universe, and/or YouTube, serendipity. Water finds its level, after all. An instant connection was forged, and these two crazies have never looked back! Love you Steph. Never ever change. Shorty xx 

 One of Miss Shorty’s closest friends, Taren has been there with Shorty, with us all, through some pretty dark and tumultuous times. While Taren is currently not active in our chat due to health reasons, we owe so much of what you see on Camp Shorty to this phenomenal woman. She set up StreamElements, with all the !prompts our Mod Squad, and chatters, use, every livestream. Together with Joey, she made the “Kain making it rain memberships” bumper, which is, frankly, so so good!  

Taren sat backstage while Miss Shorty forgot she had muted herself, every live, for months, and played “you are unmuted” to snap Shorty out of it. Many of the sound bites you hear at Camp Shorty are courtesy of our T, including Shorty swing my way

We love you very, very much, Taren. Thank you for being such an amazing executive producer and the best friend a woman could ask for.
